Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Smyrna, Tennessee (Zip : 37167) Healthcare Setting : Main hospital – Women’s Services Unit Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Nursing Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per month Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1990 - $2130 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Tennessee or compact state) Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring Ability to deliver high-quality patient-centered care Preferred advanced skills : Spinning Babies, STABLE Strong communication and teamwork abilities Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to laboring patients Support and promote vaginal birth opportunities tailored to patient preferences Circulate in operating room (OR), perform IUPC, FSE, administer MgSO4, manage postpartum hemorrhage (JADA system), and utilize nitrous oxide as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team including midwives, CRNA, and OBGYN Float to mother / baby or other hospital departments as required Maintain patient experience scores above 75% Document care using CPN and Meditech electronic health record systems Comply with unit guidelines and dress code (hot pink and black) This hospital is an HCA Unit of Distinction and a TIPQC Pilot Hospital for NTSV and Team Birth.
