Curriculum Developer (TS / SCI Required)

We seek an experienced Instructional / Multimedia Developer for a short-term (6-9 month) development effort. Our goal will be to sustain this opportunity permanently, however you should only expect this opportunity to serve as a short-term position.

Overview

The Instructional / Multimedia Developer will join the dynamic and creative training team to support the local Instructor Team. This position will be integral in enhancing, bolstering, and polishing learning content for a vital national security customer. In this production-focused role, you will be working to engage users of the learning management system, unique learning curriculum, and innovative educational tools by introducing complex concepts in an enticing, engaging, and entertaining manner.

Duties Include

• Maintaining existing classroom and multimedia courses and managing annual reviews to keep all lessons up-to-date
• Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) developing lessons using the Instructional Systems Design Process (ISD) for all course formats
• Assist SMEs in writing, editing, and organizing content to fit the target audience and student educational levels for adult learners
• Ensures technical solutions are compatible with appropriate andragogical approaches for both in-resident and online learning
• Serves as an educational consultant for instructors
• Engage with instructors and students to create a dynamic, aspirational, and innovative culture, a professional learning community grounded in collaboration, focused on improving learning outcomes, and driven by data-informed decision-making
• Lead and support a culture of innovation
• Evaluate and implement improvements in digital learning strategy
• Research the latest digital tools and interactive media trends
• Analyze customer and user data and develop a responsive strategy based on results
• Assist instructors in the development and delivery of practical and innovative learning lessons and delivery formats
• Assist in the facilitation, development, and support of digital learning strategies in the classroom
• Utilize Adult Learning Theory to motivate adult learners to improve professional practice

Sigmatech offers a substantial compensation and benefits package for all employees. The target range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000. Sigmatech is an EEO employer.
