Machine Operator – 3rd Shift
Location : Shelby Township, MI
Schedule : Sunday–Thursday, 11 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM
Pay Rate : $18.50 – $19.50 per hour
Position Summary
We are seeking a 3rd Shift Operator to support production in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for running machines, performing quality checks, and maintaining equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Load raw parts into the manufacturing cell.
- Maintain scrap bins, chip hoppers, and machine fluids.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and filter changes.
- Run production parts and CMM programs.
- Inspect parts at required intervals and take corrective actions when needed.
- Record dimensional data and calculate process capability.
- Complete production and downtime reporting.
- Adjust machine processes or change tools based on part measurements or tool schedules.
- Perform titrations and adjust concentrations for coolants and wash solutions.
- Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions.
- Support continuous improvement activities.
- Perform basic machine maintenance per operator instructions.
