Basketball Coach

: Come join the team at HCI Sports & Fitness As a premier sports and fitness center located in Bee Cave, we are in search of Basketball Clinic and League Coaches If you have knowledge and experience in playing and coaching youth basketball, this position is for you Lead Coach and Assistant Coach opportunities available.

Requirements :

In joining our team, you'll be responsible for :

Leading or assisting during youth basketball clinics, leagues, or camps

Responsive communication and collaboration to help promote and improve HCI Basketball

Some collaboration for the planning of sessions

Greeting and welcoming participants, parents, and guests

Ensuring sessions are high energy, fun, safe, and organized to create a positive experience for participants

Assisting with organizing, setting up, and cleaning up before and after programs

Participating in staff meetings

To be a great Fit, you'll have :

An enthusiastic, energetic, and positive personality

Professional appearance and behavior

Experience working with children, especially aged 3-10

Knowledge of basketball, including basic rules and teaching terminology

Excellent verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to listen and respond appropriately to children and adults both in person and in electronic communication

A strong work ethic that includes punctuality, organization, and attention to detail

Ability to attend sessions on Weekday evenings, especially Thursdays (as early as 4 : 15p) and Saturdays (morning through early afternoon).

The ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Previous coaching experience of at least two years in a recreational basketball environment
