Key Responsibilities :
Supervise and direct day-to-day civil construction activities on wireless sites.
Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and specifications.
Manage tasks like :
Site clearing and grading.
Concrete formwork and pouring (foundations, pads, etc.).
Trenching and conduit placement for fiber / power.
Grounding and bonding systems installation.
Equipment shelter or cabinet installation.
Coordinate with tower crews, electricians, and fiber teams.
Ensure compliance with company, OSHA, and local safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and crew hours.
Communicates progress, issues, and needs to the Construction Manager.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Conduct safety briefings and enforce safety protocols.
Requirements :
Education & Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
3–5 years of civil construction experience in telecom or similar field.
Previous experience as a crew lead or foreman (preferred).
Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of civil construction practices in telecom.
Ability to read construction blueprints and site layout plans.
Leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications (Preferred or Required) :
OSHA 10 / 30 Construction Certification.
First Aid / CPR.
Competent Person (trenching, fall protection, etc.).
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
Working Conditions :
Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
Travel to multiple job sites (regional or nationwide).
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
May involve long hours or weekend work depending on project deadlines.
