As a BCS Substitute Teacher at Bethel Christian School, you will play a vital role in maintaining the educational flow for K-8th grade students in the absence of their regular teacher. Your main responsibilities will include managing classroom behavior, implementing lesson plans, and ensuring a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, able to follow instructions, and possess strong communication skills.
Your duties will also involve :
- Following lesson plans provided by the regular teacher to ensure a consistent learning experience.
- Managing classroom dynamics to promote participation and minimize distractions.
- Supervising students in various settings—classroom, playground, and cafeteria.
- Adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Developing long-term lesson plans when acting as a long-term substitute.
