Position Overview
The Business Development Representative will focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while fostering and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients. This role is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets, closing deals, and contributing to the long-term success of our organization by building lasting client partnerships and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold-calling and proactive outreach
- Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients, ultimately driving new business and closing deals
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth onboarding and successful implementation for new clients
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience in sales or business development.Proven success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targetsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities essential for meeting sales targets.Experience thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Capable of working independently as well as collaborating effectively within a team.Leverage strategic thinking, strong analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify new business opportunities and develop impactful sales strategies.Previous experience in the restoration or service industry is preferred.Proficiency in with CRM software and sales automation tools is a plus and highly beneficial, and experience in the software or technology industry will be an advantage.Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record. The ability to maintain a satisfactory driving history throughout employment is required, unless reasonable accommodations are needed in accordance with applicable law.Ability to travel locally, with occasional out-of-area and overnight travel as needed.Must be able to successfully pass a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening.Servpro is an equal opportunity employer.
