Stock Prep / Operations Process Engineer Intern, Summer 2026

Purpose : The goal of the Ahlstrom Stevens Point Mill's Co-op program is to cultivate the development of potential future engineering and leadership resources for our organization while providing high-quality process support to the mill's operations group(s). Co-op assignments are structured to provide candidates with opportunities to grow and develop in their chosen discipline as well as to educate them on various career paths within the organization. Although there is no guarantee of future employment, our goal is to have our Co-ops fully capable of stepping into a full-time engineering position within our organization by the end of the program.

We are seeking a Stock Prep / Operations Process Engineer Intern at our Stevens Point, Wisconsin plant for Summer 2026. This position will assist the Production Team in the achievement of safety, quality, production, cost, and product development objectives of a paper machine process line. Pay Rate : $26.00 per hour

Requirements :

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Enrolled in a Paper Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or similar Engineering degree program
• Living in or willing to relocate to the Stevens Point, Wisconsin area from May - August 2026
• Strong technical aptitude and proven problem-solving abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
