Team Lead

We are currently seeking for a Bilingual  Temp. Packaging Lead  in Davie. We need someone with a proven leadership role in an area of Production (ideally in Packaging) who will help us lead the packaging crew.  Bilingual English / Spanish required.

This is a Full time Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6 : 00am to 6 : 00pm

Essential functions and responsibilities :

• Supervises employees in packaging, plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in packaging methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.
• Plan the daily packaging activities, revise the work orders and assign the duties to the operators.
• Must be able to assist the Manager in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedure, safety, quality control, and performance management.
• Ensures effective employee relations and resolves employee issues through problem resolution.
• Provides employee coaching and development.
• Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
• Tracks absenteeism and time-keeping.
• Responsible for the inventory of the department
