We have an opening for an Assistant Manager at Plato's Closet Murfreesboro!

Responsibilities and Duties :

Create a positive store experience by greeting them immediately, and by handling transactions professionally and enthusiastically
Become familiar with brands, products, and prices
Buy used clothing and accessories
Tell customers about promotions
Price and ticket items, restock store according to merchandising plan
Maintain store displays and inventory levels
Assist manager in scheduling and managing employees
Lead team meetings
Provide guidance and training to junior employees
Be responsible for opening and closing the store
Be confident in enforcing company policy
Ability to execute company floor-sets

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications :

Retail experience

Leadership experience

Flexible availability (weekdays, weeknights, weekends, holidays, etc)

Relatively tech savvy

Friendly and helpful attitude

Drive to meet customer needs

Perform duties with minimal direct supervision

Learn quickly, embrace opportunities for new responsibilities

Excellent verbal and written communication

Ability to lift at least 30 pounds

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Easy adaptation to a new and fast-paced environment / quick-learner

Ability to commute to offsite storage
