QC Technician - 1st shift

Summary and Objective :

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you are responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our products to ensure they meet the required legal and company standards for safety and quality. You will also

monitor production processes, maintain calibrated test equipment, prepare test data, and identify areas for quality improvement. To ensure success as a Quality Technician, you should have a strong working knowledge of process concepts, excellent visual awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Inspection (visual, organoleptic etc...) of incoming raw materials, ingredients, and packaging to determine acceptability to established standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collection of raw material, work in process, and finished goods for evaluation against key quality and food safety attributes.
• Prepare and analyze raw material, in-process, and finished product samples per standardized procedures to ensure product consistency, safety, and quality standards. These tests may include but are not limited to Fat, Moisture, Protein, Ash, Fiber, pH, Water Activity(aw). Enter test data into lab /

operations system(s).
