Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Lab Care for cardiac patients before, during, and after catheterization procedures Day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM, 3 shifts per week On-call required one shift per week from 7 : 00 PM to 6 : 30 AM On-call rotation every 5-6 weekends for 48 hours, from 6 : 30 AM Saturday to 6 : 30 AM Monday Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required Responsible for all phases of care in the Cardiac Cath Lab including pre, intra, and post-procedure responsibilities No maximum on allowable return time, but former perm staff may not return as travelers No limit on local candidates, but those residing under 50 miles may receive a reduced rate No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) are allowed during the assignment Blue scrubs are a safe choice for attire COVID-19 medical and religious exemptions are accepted Two professional references from the past 12 months are required for consideration Requirements Active MA RN license or temporary MA RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications that do not expire within 30 days of assignment start Minimum 2 years of documented Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience Critical care experience required Competency in Cath Lab pre, post, and intracath care Familiarity with the Cardiac Cath Lab checklist Experience with Epic EMR is required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625769.
