A company is looking for a HIM Technician.
Key Responsibilities
Process health information, including picking up discharged patient records and prepping / scanning documents in the EMR
Answer telephone inquiries and keep the supervisor informed of any issues or concerns
Analyze records for discrepancies and manage clerical transcription processes
Required Qualifications
One year of clerical experience, including working with calculations and phone systems
Basic experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
One year of medical record experience
