Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with an active TX or compact license, BLS certification, and at least two years of experience for a hospital-based operating room in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

Hospital setting working in the Operating Room (OR)

Specializes in Neuro, Plastics, Oncology, GYN, Colorectal, and Urology cases

Day shifts available as 4x10s or 5x8s, Monday through Friday

2-3 days of on-call required, with possible weekend on-call

Epic EMR experience preferred

Blue scrubs provided by the facility

Deliver patient-centered care using established nursing processes and protocols

Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized plans of care

Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives

Blue scrubs must be worn and are provided

Returning employees must verify rehire eligibility prior to assignment

Virtual interview process with one round

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required

Operating room experience required

Experience in Neuro, Plastics, Oncology, GYN, Colorectal, or Urology a strong plus

Epic EMR experience preferred

Flu shot required with no exemptions during flu season (August-November)

Two professional references required

Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

No local travelers accepted
