Job Title : Program Supervisor

Employment Type : Full-time, 40 hours / wk

Scheduled Hours : Monday-Friday 8am to 4 : 30pm

Program / Location : SU Employment Service; Manchester, CT

About the Program : The SU Employment Service program provides a comprehensive, person-centered services that bridges the gap between behavioral health services and employment services. The program focuses on reducing barriers, enhancing job readiness, fostering supportive employer relationships and ultimately promoting long-term recovery through economic self-sufficiency. This program is an evidenced based supported employment service to promote and expand employment opportunities for individuals who use DMHAS services who have substance use disorders or co-occurring disorders of mental health and substance use disorders.

About the Position : Program Supervisor

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Provides case consultation, direction and leadership within the team.
• Ensures clients receive services that are focused on presenting problems and clients' request for treatment.
• Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as required.
• Monitors client meetings, admission, continued stay and discharge criteria.
• Reviews caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate utilization of services.
• Oversees hiring, training, and performance management of staff within the program.
• Facilitates team meetings.
• Participates in internal and external meetings as needed by program and agency.
• Ensures client, program and agency documentation is completed in a timely manner and according to program, agency, funder and accreditation / licensing standards.
• Acts as primary point person for program and provides back up coverage as needed by program and agency.
• Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles / if applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree with experience may be substituted for education in some programs.

Experience : A minimum of 2-3 years' experience providing direct services in a mental health related field. Supervisory experience preferred not required.

Training : Experience in related program service preferred
