Position Description : The Director, Physician Analytics will lead the design, development, and execution of analytics initiatives supporting Lumexas Physician Practices, with a special focus on the implementation and ongoing management of the business analytics platform. This leader will partner closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), National Physician Leadership Board (NPLB), clinical leadership, and IT teams to ensure data integrity, operational reporting, and performance analytics that drive decision-making and quality improvement. The role will oversee the day-to-day functionality of reporting platforms, including data validation, mapping, and user training. This leader will oversee and build an analytics team to support physician practice growth, a key element in Lumexas long-term plan.
Key Responsibility Areas :
- Enterprise Physician KPIs : In close partnership with the CMO, identify enterprise KPIs for the following physician & clinical domains : Physician Productivity (wRVUs), Physician Capacity & Schedule Planning, Clinical Quality & Patient Safety.
- Strategic Planning & Thought Partnership : Collaborate with the CMO, NPLB, & practice leadership to support growth strategies that align with Lumexas overall vision. Conduct in-depth analysis that supports the annual strategic planning process that drives sustainable practice growth.
- Analytics Leadership : Be the connective tissue across practices that enable analytic best practice sharing and work to empower local analytic resources. Provide guidance and leadership to practice analytic resources as they support their local clinical leadership teams.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage recurring analytic deliverables to the executive leadership team (ELT), NPLB, CMO, and other clinical stakeholders.Manage all data tables and mappings within the Lumexa Snowflake environment that enable enterprise level reporting.Partner with clinical, operational, and recruiting leadership to identify radiologist staffing needs across the enterprise.Develop a deep understanding of physician practice workflows and data systems to guide analytics solutions that are practical and impactful.Partner with IT and clinical leadership to understand and advise on clinical workflows that create efficiency and improve data quality.Conduct monthly audits of data mappings to ensure completeness and accuracy, addressing gaps in a timely manner.Support clinical operations leadership with capacity and demand models, and other ad hoc analytic requests.Supervise and develop analysts, delegating detailed work while remaining engaged in core analytics and platform management activities.Qualifications
7 years in analytics roles with increasing responsibility, including direct experience managing data platforms and analytic tools.5 years of experience collaborating with business leaders, including physician practice leadership, to deliver actionable insights.Demonstrated experience with data validation, mapping, and maintenance processes.Proven track record of developing and deploying dashboards and reports in data visualization software, e.g., Tableau, PowerBI.Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data warehousing concepts in a Snowflake environment.Experience serving as a product owner for a clinical or operational analytics platform.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.High degree of self-awareness and a collaborative approach to working across teams.Education
Bachelors degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or related field required.Advanced Analytics or STEM degree a plus.
