Job overview and responsibilities
Reporting to the Sr. Sales Director - Southeast North America, the Regional Sales Director for Channel Sales Executives leads the Channel Sales Executive team covering Tennessee and Arkansas. The role requires a dynamic, customer-focused, results-oriented leader with knowledge in Video Security & Access Control.
Responsibilities
Provide service leadership to the regional team to help them be successful
Drive, coach and mentor the regional team on prospecting for net new customers
Create, nurture and respond to sales opportunities with regional team members and help close sales orders
Establish quarterly and annual sales objectives for all territories within the Region in coordination with the Senior Sales Director and Vice President of Sales – North America
Promote and sell Motorola products and services through direct customer contact within the assigned geographic territory
Conduct sales calls, schedule local promotional work and regularly track sales activities with all channel and end user opportunities using Salesforce.com
Supervise and manage the Regional Sales team for successful performance of job duties as detailed in the respective job description
Oversee and manage the sale of products and services within the specified territory
Provide feedback from end user customer requirements to engineering and operations departments to help implement product improvements and new product releases
Other duties as assigned
Specific Knowledge & Skills
4+ years of experience in one of the following : Sales, Video or Physical Security
1+ years of leadership experience
Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives, with a team-first approach
Proven team player with success collaborating with multiple departments while maintaining tact and diplomacy
Physical security solutions experience a plus
Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy with proven funnel development through aggressive prospecting
Strong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutions; technical background to include networking protocols, network equipment configuration
Proven record of achievement in delivering sales results and developing collaborative relationships
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
Exceptional presentation skills; strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to solve complex problems which may require unique solutions used across geographies and industries
Travel : Approximately 50-75% of regional travel required; majority by car with some national & international air travel for tradeshows and sales conferences
Compensation and benefits
Target Base Salary Range : $110,000 - $115,000 USD
Pay transparency information : Pay within this range varies based on knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
