Job Summary

Summary : Responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of non-cooking kitchen workers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Implement, oversee and follow up on all sanitation standards and procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring food service equipment is secure and maintained in proper order.
• Oversee and maintain the supply of necessary equipment
• Trains and guides porter staff on job duties and proper safety and sanitation procedures
• Ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized. Also ensuring waste removal and recycling.
• Maintains and cleans a dishwashing station, three compartment sink, storerooms, refrigerators, and related areas.
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Levy safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
