Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to support a Global Trading team within a fast-paced energy trading environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across both front-end and back-end development and a proven ability to build scalable, high-performance applications. You will work closely with a Quantitative Analytics group to develop data products, models, and visualizations that directly support trading operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain full stack web applications using modern frameworks and technologies

Collaborate with quantitative analysts and internal stakeholders to build data products and visual tools

Ensure code quality, reusability, and automation best practices

Contribute to the design and optimization of scalable, high-performance solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Proficiency in front-end technologies : HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular

Strong back-end development skills using Node.js, Python, or similar

Experience working with databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB

Familiarity with cloud platforms : AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong analytical thinking and adaptability to evolving priorities

Ability to manage workloads under time pressure

Preferred Qualifications :

Understanding of market data, trading systems, or financial instruments

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

5+ years of professional software development experience

Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies

Proven experience building and supporting data pipelines and performant databases

Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, indexing, and query optimization

Experience with Databricks and Snowflake

Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)

Experience with front-end frameworks / libraries (React preferred)

Full-stack development experience with familiarity across database systems

Soft Skills :

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Innovative problem-solving approach

Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly

Customer-focused collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
