Responsibilities Position located in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit Cares for high-risk labor and delivery patients Circulator duties for cesarean deliveries required Shifts are 07 : 00-19 : 30 Every other weekend work and rotating holidays with regular staff required May float within skill set onsite or to sites within 40 miles if needed Provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods Support high-risk obstetric patients and assist in obstetric emergencies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in the Labor and Delivery unit May be required to float to other units or facilities within a 40-mile radius based on staffing needs Holiday and every other weekend shifts are required as part of the rotation Scrubs or professional dress code required as per hospital policy COVID-19 vaccination is not required Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate due to the radius rule Travelers may only be submitted to one system-wide position at a time Requirements Active WI or compact state RN license required Minimum 1 year of experience in labor and delivery nursing AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required AHA or American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required Recent fetal monitoring training within the past 2 years from AWHONN, Relias, or similar if not covered on competency exam Experience as circulator for cesarean deliveries required Nursys verification and license / certificate validation within 30 days prior to start All candidates must have a US Social Security Number and US home address Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-617960.
