Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at our facility in Baltimore, MD. The ideal candidate will have strong manual machining skills and experience working with a variety of heavy equipment repair tasks.
Responsibilities
- Utilize manual machining skills to operate a variety of machines including boring mill, cylindrical grinder machine, manual grinder, manual lathe, manual vertical mill, and turning lathe
- Perform heavy equipment repair tasks using shop math skills and precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Operate overhead crane to move materials and equipment as needed
- Work with machine brands such as Clausing, Bridgeport, and Supermax to complete machining projects
