This is an on-call position, and is currently paid $10.98 per hour plus service charges.
We are pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Banquet Bartender .
What will you be doing most days?
- The Banquet Bartender will report to the Banquet Captain and will be responsible for serving beverages to guests in banquet rooms in a friendly, courteous and timely manner resulting in guest satisfaction
- Proper and adequate set-up of a banquet bar. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet.
- Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documents orders for drinks. Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
- Check guests for proper identification.
- Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained.
- Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
- Receives cash from guests, makes any change needed.
- Verifies validity of charges, records charges, and ensures vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all monies.
- Locks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank at the end of all functions.

Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently to interact with staff and guests, and for the completion of requisitions, balance sheets and vouchersBasic knowledge of food & beverage preparations and service of various alcoholic beveragesBasic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizesAbility to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures to pre-check an order & close out a checkHigh School graduate or equivalent requiredAvailability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.State liquor service certification requiredPhysical Requirements for this Position
This can be a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
Travel Requirements
This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
Pay Scale : $14.47- $19.96 / hour
