Property Maintenance

Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.

Service Work : (95%)

• Cleans / sanitizes bathrooms- cleans sinks and toilets, polishes mirrors, and replenishes supplies.
• Sweeps, vacuums, mops and waxes floors; sweeps sidewalks.
• Cleans windows, dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures.
• Empties trash cans regularly; collects trash from grounds.
• Assists in setting up meeting rooms, tables and chairs
• Assists in monitoring light fixtures to ensure all light bulbs are in working order.
• Assists the public in unloading and carrying donations.
• Assists in performing housekeeping work at lodge / shelter.

Other Responsibilities : (5%)

Performs other related work as required

Physical Requirements :

Ability to meet attendance requirements.

Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing.

Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing housekeeping and minor maintenance work.

Working Conditions :

Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt and dust, and / or disagreeable sights and odors.

Minimum Qualifications Required :

Education and Experience : HS diploma or GED, AND one-year experience performing job related responsibilities preferred, OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
