Employment Type : Full-Time (Monday to Friday

Salary : $57,000.00-$62,000.00

Your Role as a Special Education Teacher

Adapt Instruction - Modify curriculum and teaching methods as needed, using varied strategies to meet student needs and goals.

Create a Supportive Environment - Build a safe, consistent classroom that fosters learning, appropriate behavior, and emotional growth.

Assess & Report Progress - Monitor student performance, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with parents and staff.

Engage in Professional Growth - Pursue ongoing development, participate in evaluations, and contribute to staff collaboration and decision-making.

Support the School Community - Attend key meetings, events, and committees to strengthen curriculum, instruction, and family engagement.

Required Qualifications :

Valid New Jersey teacher certification in subject area(s) / grade levels to be taught.

Certificate of Eligibility as Teacher of Students with Disabilities (ToSD).

Bachelor's Degree
