Mambo Seafood is a high-volume iconic Houston restaurant brand that has been in business since 1996. Mambo has 13 restaurants in the Greater Houston area, 3 locations in San Antonio, and one franchised operation in the Rio Grande Valley. Mambo Seafood is poised for rapid growth!

The Bar Server must be professional with high-energy and excellent communication skills.  The Bar Server shucks oysters, introduces the daily specials and limited time offers, prepares and serves food and drinks, and is responsible for maintaining the bar area.  The Bar Server will anticipate customers’ needs and exceed expectations. The Bar Server ensures that customers leave “Panza Llena, Corazon Contento®”.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Adheres to the Company’s food safety policies and customer service principles.
• Comply with the Company’s alcohol service policy and all food and beverage regulations.
• Prepares drinks / cocktails according to Company recipes.
• Batches cocktails according to recipes, adhering to rotation and labeling guidelines.
• Enters food and beverage orders into the point of sale (POS) system, processes payments accurately.
• Handles customer complaints or problems in a positive, courteous manner.
• Ensures the balance of the bank at the end of the shift.
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness throughout the bar area.
• Restocks and replenishes bar supplies and performs opening and closing duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

COMPUTER SKILLS :

Familiarity with POS system preferred; basic computer skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements :

Working Environment :

Moderate noise, fast pace, high customer traffic, and regularly tolerate exposure to cleaning solutions.
