Job Description
Day to day roles and responsibilities :
- The candidate will be modifying existing programs in ControlLogix processors. Additional design and programming of new processors will also be required after all changes to current code have been made.
- The candidate will be incorporating rfid into the production line and will modify / replace existing rfid products as required.
- The candidate will create the required entries in the new MES system to allow communication with the line controllers.

Skills / Experience / Education :
Four (4) year engineering degree or equivalent experience required BSEE, or BSCS preferred5-7 years' experience required ( 10 to 15 years' experience required for non college degreed candidates, no conversion offered)Understanding of manufacturing processesProject management experienceIndustrial controls systems experienceSkills :
Use of common approaches to problem solving (Six Sigma, 7-step, FMEA, FTA, etc.)Knowledge of quality procedures and systems (training required once hired)Understanding of statistical process control, process capability, and data analysisComputer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)Understanding of IMS (Preferred)Software experience with the following products : RSSQL, RSLogix5, RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, RSView32Overall understanding of HMI applications and Controls System architecture interacts with IT systemsAdditional Information
