Hermiston Area Intake Specialist

Location : Hermiston Oregon

Schedule : 30-40 hours per week

Status : Full time

Pay / Additional Benefits : Hourly Position. Pay $23 an hour. Mileage reimbursement and travel time between clients. Medical, Dental and Vision through UHC offered after 90 days of employment.

Position Summary :

Northwest Habilitation is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in welcoming new clients, assessing their eligibility for services, and ensuring a smooth transition into care. Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct initial onboarding for new clients, including intake assessments and service viability evaluations
• Introduce clients to appropriate staff members
• Provide support and guidance to clients when assigned staff are unavailable
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care
• Uphold safety and de-escalation protocols as needed
• Showcase Northwest Habilitation’s core values in all client and team interactions
