Entegris is currently seeking a Director, R&D Engineering to join our New Product Development team in Round Rock, TX.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, verification and deployment of semiconductor products.
• Research and identify new products to improve the overall customer satisfaction with the cost, performance, quality, safety, and delivery of our products.
• Work with contract manufacturers domestically and internationally on builds, testing, qualification, and continuous improvements.
• Manage, develop, and document intellectual property.
• Develop performance metrics focused on safety, quality, customer satisfaction and process performance.
• Create, manage, and validate the deliverables from product development to the release to manufacturing.
• Lead internal and external resources to meet the needs of customers regarding product performance and project timelines.
• Manage the professional development of the Engineering team, with a focus on semiconductor technical development, customer centricity and project execution.
• Support transition of design concepts, detailed design, and product release information to manufacturing partners (internal or external) and provide ongoing technical / engineering oversight to manufacturing partners (internal and external).
• Engage with product marketing and customers on functional requirements for our products.
• Have ability and willingness to take a "hands-on" approach and lead by example to meeting project scope and timing including assisting project team members in completion of deliverables as needed.
• Ability to travel 30% both domestically and internationally.
