About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience :

Minimum 1 year of experience required.

First timers are accepted.

License :

A Compact or state license is required.

Certifications :

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Must-Have :

Experience with post MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease.

Experience with telemetry, EKG, and Doppler.

Experience in a 1 : 5 patient ratio.

Description :

The position involves providing care for adult to geriatric patients.

You will manage patients with various cardiac conditions, including post myocardial infarction and heart failure.

Candidates should be familiar with procedures like peritoneal dialysis and have the ability to monitor telemetry readings.

The role includes performing EKGs and Doppler assessments.

Nurses will be required to float to other cardiac telemetry units as needed.

The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 5.

Phlebotomy, IV line management, and wound care skills are crucial.

Involvement in interdisciplinary support teams is expected.

Candidates must have strong skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing cardiac drips.

Availability to work during holidays and weekends as required is essential.

Compliance with all regulations and guidelines is mandatory for starting the position.
