ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location

This position is located in West Virginia.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with 1-2 shifts of call per week plus every 3rd-4th weekend.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will cover both vascular and neuro procedures. The candidate should be proficient in cerebral procedures, coil placements, kyphoplasty, spine work, stroke therapy, and carotid stenting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret hemodynamic status of patients.
  • Maintain sterile technique and confidentiality during procedures.
  • Prepare entry sites using sterile methods.
  • Continuously monitor patients' ECG and blood pressure; document and care for immediate needs.
  • Act in the laboratory's code team by initiating resuscitative measures under physician supervision.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and educational opportunities.
  • Instruct radiography students on positioning, technique selection, and equipment manipulation.
  • Manage inventory and perform necessary documentation for all procedures conducted.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • ARRT (R) certification.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
  • Radiation badge provided by the agency.
