Summary of Position : The Programmer Analyst designs and supports college information systems by developing SQL-based solutions, APIs, and middleware for data integration. They collaborate with departments to assess business needs and implement effective technical solutions. The role also ensures data privacy and security in alignment with FERPA and institutional policies.

Essential Functions

2. Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department.

4. Programming Support - Supporting Action / Task May Include :

• Analyze, Develop, write, test, debug and document and provide support for reporting and processing needs for college information systems using primarily SQL.
• Implement problem solving techniques and solutions for new requests, modifications and problems for college information systems.
• Consult with users to determine business needs, design solutions and evaluate feasibility of proposed solution.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to gather data requirements.
• Develop and maintain APIs and middleware for data integration across multiple systems
• Maintain data privacy and security in compliance with FERPA and institutional policies.

Starting annual salary range based on education and experience : $58,325 - $77,703

This position would include competitive salary, along with a wide variety of benefits available to full-time Western Technical College Employees.
