Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct boundary surveys, accurately defining property lines, easements, and potential encroachments.
• Perform topographic surveys to map land contours and surface features for planning and drainage assessments.
• Deliver ALTA / NSPS surveys, meeting standardized protocols for land title and development needs.
• Execute construction layout (staking) by placing reference points for building or infrastructure projects.
• Complete as-built surveys, documenting actual constructed conditions versus original plans.
• Prepare elevation certificates, particularly for properties in flood-prone areas requiring insurance documentation.
• Draft radial maps to determine distances between structures and provide photogrammetric control points.
• Blend fieldwork with office tasks such as data interpretation, map preparation, and client / project team collaboration.
