As part of Detection and Measurement, CUES is the world's leading developer of water, wastewater, and storm water inspection equipment. With CCTV cameras, pre-built vehicles, and software for pipeline inspection and rehabilitation, we improve the safety and reliability of our water infrastructure systems.

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

Cues is a diverse t eam of unique individuals who all make an impact. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing state-of-the-art products for the utility inspection market, utilizing embedded vision systems to create cutting edge complex designs. The Electrical Engineer will design, debug, and test prototype components and circuit card assemblies while working in a cross-functional organization. Product designs involve the combination of analog, digital and High Speed design for interfacing to PC's and SBC's via USB, Ethernet, and other common computer protocols. Engineers may also contribute to project teams, process improvements, write standards, and be a technical product owner.

The Electrical Engineer role involves occasional travel and requires the ability to work within commercial and scientific teams. The role requires the ability to take ownership of and be responsible for many simultaneous system deliverables. This includes project planning, design, implementation, testing, documentation, validation and support. He / she must be a graduate in an applicable field with industry experience or equivalent.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

1. Design and Development :

• Designs complex electronic circuits, subsystems, systems, and products from schematic capture to PCB layout.
• Layout Circuits and systems vary in complexity and may include analog, digital, microprocessor, high speed commincation, high voltage / power circuitry, and DC motor driver circuitry at both the schematic capture and PCB layout stages of development.
• Design Circuits around mechanical components and constaints with DFM / DFS in mind.
• Design Automated and manual Test fixtures for PCBa's
