Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Travel Registered Nurse- Corrections to work at a Facility in New City, NY . These are registry positions with our company.\n\nRate : $66.00\n\nShift Details : \n

• Nights, 8 hour shift\n\nDescription : This is a travel position located in New City, NY. 13 week contract.\n\nMinimum Qualifications : \n
• At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse\n
• A valid and current RN license issued by the State of NY\n
• A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association)\n
• Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.\n\nJob Responsibilities : \n
• Provides general nursing care to patients\n
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.\n
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.\n
• Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.\n
• Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.\n
• May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients.\n
