Bid Due Date : 09 / 04 / 24, 5pm EST Position Overview : Facility is seeking a Board Certified Anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage due to a staffing shortage. This position involves working in a hospital setting performing independent anesthesia cases with a backup anesthesiologist on-site. Responsibilities :

  • Schedule :
  • Monday to Friday, 7am-5pm.
  • 8-hour shifts are also available.
  • Case Load :
  • The facility performs 3,600 IP / OP surgeries per year.
  • Required procedures include Ortho, Spine, Gynecology, Urology, and gastric bypass. Minimal vascular cases. No pediatric cases.
  • Support Staff :
  • Anesthesia providers, CRNA, and Anesthesia Tech.

Qualifications :

  • Certification :
  • Board Certified - Required.
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA - Required.
  • Licensing :
  • Active Nebraska License - Required.
  • Fellowship - Required.
  • Experience : Clean malpractice history is preferred.
  • Availability : Must be available at the time of name clear.
