The Graphic Designer, Sponsorships plays a key role in supporting the Global Partnerships team by bringing partnership ideas to life through high quality visual content. This role will report into the Senior Director, Graphic Design but will fully support the Global Partnership team.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with the Global Partnerships Strategy, Sales, and Success team to develop compelling, visual collateral that supports departmental initiativesCreation and development of pitch decks, case studies, asset one-sheets and partnership recapsAbility to tell a compelling story and transform content outlines (with copy-heavy information) into visually appealing graphic designsCreation of Dodger and client co-branded pitch-related graphics, photos and render mock-upsDevelop visually appealing logos, charts, infographics, illustrations and iconographyAble to assess priorities and take decisive action under pressure, ensuring timely delivery without compromising qualityAbility to create original designs and enhance existing creative materialCollaborate with other departments (including those supporting the in-game experience, creative, marketing, game presentation, and social) to ensure proper use of all design assets including logos and imagesAttend Global Partnerships Department meetings to gain a deep understanding of business objectives, ensuring all design work aligns with strategic goals and effectively communicates our brand visionFormat and style all presentations and visuals to uphold specific brand standards and guidelines with consistency and accuracyMaintain up-to-date knowledge of design trends and tools to ensure creative output remains fresh, modern and effectiveBasic Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, OR equivalent work experience3+ years of experience designing pitch decks, marketing collateral, infographics, or branded visualsExpert experience in Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat ProAdvanced to expert level in Microsoft PowerPoint and proficient in the rest of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)Ability to work in both Microsoft and Apple based environmentsAbility to assess project requirements, identify scope, and set creative and timing expectations; experience and familiarity in additional presentation software such as Keynote and DIGIDECK, is a plusPassion for clean presentation design with an established sense of layout hierarchy, spacing, typography, and compositionAbility to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced, energetic, team environmentHighly organized, creative with strong attention to detail, both visually and grammaticallyStrong communication and project management skillsMust be willing to take creative direction and strategic feedback from a variety of different stakeholders when incorporating revisions, edits, and other adjustmentsEnthusiastic and positive attitude, considerate of evolving needs of othersStrong preference for candidates with experience in sports and entertainmentAbility to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, evenings and weekends, and holidaysMust include link to creative portfolio that showcases design skills, including photoshopped designs / imagery, infographics, and a strong understanding of typography, image layout and spacingExcellent oral and written communication skillsCandidates must have satisfactory computer skills, including some proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel / Word)Ability to work cooperatively with othersCurrent Los Angeles Dodgers employees should apply via the internal job board in UltiPro by following these prompts : MENU >
