American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level II Neonatal ICU position requiring Epic, BLS, and NRP certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a Level II Special Care Nursery (NICU) within a short-term acute care hospitalNight shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts (18 : 30–07 : 00)Patient population includes neonates, average daily census of 1, 9 beds, 1 : 2 nurse-to-patient ratioFloating may be required to postpartum or pediatric units based on experience, and between affiliate hospitals as neededEpic charting system is used and previous Epic experience is requiredWeekend coverage required every third weekendNo on-call responsibilitiesNurses provide care for neonates in a Level II Special Care NurseryPostpartum or pediatric experience is preferred but not requiredHospital-provided blue scrubs must be wornAll travelers may be required to float within scope to meet staffing needsNo RTO approved during the first week of orientation, and no more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contractPermanent staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a travelerFree parking is available for employeesFacial hair must comply with fit-testing for masks\n \n Requirements\n
Active MO or compact RN license requiredMinimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience requiredCertifications required : BLS and NRPEpic charting experience requiredCandidates must live at least 75 miles from the facilityPending state license may be accepted at time of considerationFirst-time travelers are accepted for this position\n Benefits\n
