Counseling Works is a boutique private practice in Naperville, Frankfort, Lemont, and Shorewood, IL.

We are looking for a couples therapist who is enthusiastic, easy to connect with and adaptable to join our group practice.

The ideal couples therapist will have experience in treating dating, engaged, married, and non-traditional couples.

Preference will be given to those with advanced certifications such as Gottman Levels, EFT, Imago Therapy, or AAMFT, as well as experience with attachment theory or trauma.  We provide :

• Competitive compensation commensurate with level of experience; split per session A medical biller to coordinate client benefits / eligibility, collect payment and submit claims An intake coordinator who answers calls, schedules intake appointments, and gathers completed intake paperwork Clinical supervision with approved supervisor to earn hours towards licensure (for free!) Monthly peer group case consultation Monthly educational opportunities / CEU events Supportive team environment Comfortable and well decorated office space Marketing support, including Psychology Today profile, business cards, and opportunities for blog-writing Flexible scheduling of shifts (weekends required) Flexible vacation policy and PTO accrual 401K company matching retirement plan Paid orientation No-Show protection Requirements include : Current State of Illinois license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, LSW, LPC, AMFT, MEd, or MA Willing to work weekends (minimum of 1 year of a weekend shift required) and evenings Minimum 1 year experience counseling our practice’s demographic, including couples Prior private practice experience is a plus but not required Proficient computer skills–we use Google Docs & TherapyNotes Organized, professional, conscientious, timely and responsible.
