Your day as a Registered Behavior Technician / bEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN
As a Part-Time Registered Behavior Technician or Behavior Technician at Owen Health Care Inc. , you will leverage your successful behavioral therapy experience and your background working with children to make a lasting impact on our clients. Your understanding of child and adolescent growth, coupled with strong interpersonal skills, will enable you to effectively relate to parents, management, and health and social service agencies. You will play a crucial role in developing and communicating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all agency regulations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining required documentation and implementing behavior management principles according to state licensing policies.
Additionally, you will facilitate onsite and field training sessions while demonstrating empathy and effective listening skills. To thrive as a Part-Time RBT or BT at Owen Health Care Inc. , candidates with a Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS, or BCaBA preferred) and should demonstrate a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or special education, supplemented by appropriate training and experience. Successful candidates will have a minimum of one year of experience in behavior analysis and intervention, showcasing their ability to support individuals with emotional, mental health, neurological, and developmental disabilities. Qualifed candidates should have an active RBT certification. Key skills include a deep understanding of behavioral therapy practices, exceptional communication abilities for liaising with parents and multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to adhering to state licensing policies.
Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential for documentation and reporting. The ideal candidate will also exhibit empathy, adaptability, and exceptional organizational skills to excel in a high-paced, client-focused environment.
