We're hiring a Lab Technician to support daily operations in our Analytical Sciences lab. This role ensures lab readiness and compliance through inventory management, equipment monitoring, and documentation support. You'll work cross-functionally to maintain a safe and efficient lab space.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain lab supplies, reagents, and prepare media
• Safely handle compressed gases and cryogenic liquids
• Clean and monitor temperature units, fume hoods, and BSCs
• Track equipment maintenance and calibration using electronic systems
• Coordinate workflows across departments
• Manage lab notebooks and logbooks
• Support cleaning, organization, and labeling of lab spaces
• Participate in weekend / overtime schedules as needed
• Work in labs handling potent chemical compounds
• Associate degree (AS) in Life Sciences or equivalent
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs., stand / walk for extended periods, and move equipment
• Familiarity with cGMP and electronic systems
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and team-oriented
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship

The position is full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, with the hours of 8 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm, with overtime as needed . Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, New York are encouraged to apply.
