Summary

Seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced healthcare team in Dallas, TX. This temp-to-perm position offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care, perform clinical procedures, and support physicians in a dynamic medical setting. The role involves various patient care responsibilities, including vital signs measurement, specimen collection, medication administration, and assisting with examinations. The selected candidate will have a clinical background, with Epic system experience a plus. Flexibility to float between multiple locations and adherence to HIPAA regulations are essential. This position ensures a collaborative environment focused on exceptional patient service.

Requirements

BLS certification
Valid driver license
Clinical background; Epic experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills and bedside manner

Responsibilities

Assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments

Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical equipment

Interview patients and document medical histories accurately

Measure, record, and report vital signs and patient data

Collect specimens and perform routine tests and procedures

Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as directed

Monitor and report any adverse patient reactions

Facilitate patient flow, ensuring all forms and charts are ready for providers

Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Support operational tasks, including restocking supplies and disinfecting equipment
