Production Engineer (Revit)

Family creation and management

• Project setup within Revit
• View Template creation and management
• Linking external models based on project specific coordinate systems
• BIM360 / ACC project coordination and collaboration
• Sheet work, annotation, and adherence to internal Revit standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD :

Knowledge of xrefs, blocks, sheetsets, mleaders, and NCS

• Experience working in both imperial and metric unit systems
• Must know how to use Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, & Word)
• Associates Degree preferred
• Experience in design, drafting or engineering production for MEP systems preferred

Recommended Qualifications & Skills

• Experience creating native 3D models and pipe modeling
• Ability to create families with BIM attributes
• Project template creation and management
• Familiarity with Dynamo scripting for automation in Revit
• AutoCAD knowledge :

Experience in Architectural Design, Landscape Design and Civil engineering plans

• Experience with :

Bluebeam, Dropbox, Monday.com, and other online project management software

• Windows OS and Autodesk tools

Responsibilities & Duties

• Utilize Revit and BIM software to create and maintain 2D and 3D drawings and visualizations of building projects for structural engineering and architectural disciplines
• Lead Revit-based projects by creating BIM models, Custom Content, and Construction Documentation
• Utilize ACC / BIM360 for project coordination, collaboration, and model management
• Assist in the development and management of View Templates and Project Setup in Revit
• Create and manage Revit Families and ensure consistency with internal standards
• Suggest improvements to the existing standards library and workflows
• Work closely with a team to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing projects
