Technical Sales Representative
As a Technical Sales Representative for our Corrugator in Henderson, KY, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by leveraging your technical packaging and process expertise to meet the unique needs of our customers.
Territory : Louisville, Kentucky OR Bowling Green, Kentucky Area
This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support throughout the sales process.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their packaging goals and business priorities.
- Prospect and engage with potential customers to understand their technical requirements and present suitable packaging solutions to meet their needs.
- Possess a deep understanding of Pratt's packaging materials, technologies, and industry trends to provide strong consult to customers.
- Understand packaging and manufacturing processes to help troubleshoot and optimize operational performance of Pratt packaging at our customers.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to our customers.
- Collaborate with clients to develop customized packaging solutions that align with their product specifications, branding requirements, and budget constraints.
- Work closely with internal teams, including design, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless implementation of proposed packaging solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within assigned territory.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the packaging industry.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field or commensurate experience within Packaging Industry.Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the packaging industry.Strong understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and supply chain logistics.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for tracking leads, managing pipelines, and generating reports.Willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed.
