As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a crucial role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to everyone on site. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally while responding to various situations, supporting access control measures, and assisting with badge verification as needed. Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both indoor and outdoor perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor for and report any irregularities, such as security breaches, property damage, or unusual occurrences, according to company protocols.

Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and site leadership regarding incidents, hazards, and / or security-related concerns.

Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points and assisting with visitor management as needed.

Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as directed by Allied Universal policies.

Assist with emergency response activities and follow site-specific protocols during drills and actual events.

What We're Looking For :

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
