Site System Administrator
Job Summary / Purpose
This role provides administrative and technical support for site IT departmental and corporate IT initiatives. The primary responsibility of this role is to coordinate the regulatory IT programs and manage, coordinate IT projects, coordinate Site work management activities and support the IT Performance Improvement programs and activities.
This role is expected to remain knowledgeable of corporate IT initiatives and to assist or lead these initiatives as needed.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or experience equivalent experience
Minimum Experience
IT Specialist II : 2+ years of relevant IT experience or relevant nuclear plant experience (engineering, operations, performance improvement, document control, planning, etc. i.e. experience in plant processes OIT activities interface with.)
IT Specialist Sr : 4+ years of relevant IT experience or relevant nuclear plant experience (engineering, operations, performance improvement, document control, planning, etc. i.e. experience in plant processes OIT activities interface with.)
IT Consultant : 6+ years of relevant IT experience or relevant nuclear plant experience (engineering, operations, performance improvement, document control, planning, etc. i.e. experience in plant processes OIT activities interface with.)
Critical Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Experience in implementing security control policy and procedures.
Knowledge of the operation of electric power and / or generation systems. Knowledge of system hardening, patch management, and configuration management.
Knowledge of security controls testing, security audits, and security assessments.
Knowledge of fraud and computer forensics.
Knowledge and understanding of NIST controls.
