Safety, Health & Environmental Technician
Pay Range : $65,000 – $70,000 annually.
Schedule : Night shift with flexibility required.
Openings : 3 positions.
Position Overview :
We are seeking motivated Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Technicians to support operations at NASA Johnson Space Center, Ellington Field, and SCTF. This role ensures a safe workplace by conducting field inspections, monitoring compliance, and supporting safety initiatives.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working nights with schedule flexibility to meet project needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct workplace inspections and evaluate environments, equipment, and practices for compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Implement and review processes to protect workers from hazardous conditions.
- Deliver clear daily reporting of safety inspections.
- Provide immediate reporting of injuries or serious safety issues.
- Lead and document daily safety meetings.
- Support safety oversight for special projects as required.
- Assist in updating safety, health, and environmental metrics monthly.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred.Experience in construction projects and performing field safety inspections.Must be a U.S. Citizen (required to obtain NASA badge).Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written.Valid Texas Driver’s License.Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.Skills & Attributes :
