Overview :

We seek an experienced and highly motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert with a strong focus on enhancing the Service Portal user experience and implementing complex logic using core ServiceNow scripting tools. This role requires a developer who can translate business requirements into efficient, scalable, and robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Service Portal Development : Design, develop, implement, and maintain the ServiceNow Service Portal, ensuring a modern, user-friendly interface and optimal performance across all devices.

Advanced Scripting : Implement and maintain server-side and client-side logic using various scripting methods, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Scheduled Jobs.

Technical Implementation : Configure and customize core ServiceNow applications, including workflows, forms, lists, and security policies.

Integration : Assist in the integration of ServiceNow with external systems using various integration technologies (e.g., REST / SOAP APIs).

Documentation and Testing : Create and maintain technical documentation, and conduct thorough unit and integration testing for all developed solutions.

Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Deep expertise in ServiceNow scripting :
  • Business Rules (synchronous and asynchronous).
  • Script Includes (defining reusable server-side functions).
  • Client Scripts and UI Policies (managing client-side behavior).
  • Scheduled Jobs (automating routine tasks).
  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform architecture and data model.
  • Experience working with ITIL processes within the platform.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified System Administrator (CSA).

Familiarity with other ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, CSM).

Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
