Key Responsibilities :

As a Dietary Aide , you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring residents' dietary needs are met with care and attention to detail. Your role will include :

  • Dietary Compliance : Prepare meals according to residents' care plans, ensuring adherence to specific dietary restrictions (e.g., low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, texture-modified diets).
  • Meal Service : Plate and serve meals to residents, either in the dining room or in their rooms, always serving with a smile.
  • Special Diets & Preferences : Set up meal trays for special diets and individual preferences, ensuring residents enjoy meals that meet their unique needs.
  • Cleanliness & Hygiene : Maintain a clean and safe environment by sanitizing kitchen equipment, dining areas, and utensils per strict safety and hygiene standards.
  • Team Collaboration : Assist with dishwashing, cleaning surfaces, and removing trash while maintaining a friendly and cooperative atmosphere.
  • Resident Interaction : Serve residents with kindness and respect, always attentive to their needs, requests, and feedback.
  • What We’re Looking For :

  • Educational Requirements : High school diploma or GED required.
  • Qualities We Value : Patience, empathy, and a genuine care for the well-being of our residents.
  • Physical Requirements : Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Team Player : Comfortable with bending, reaching, pushing carts, and performing various kitchen tasks.
