The role
CMM Operator
As a CMM Operator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring components meet exact customer specifications. Using CMM / Blue Light technology and other high-precision measuring tools, you'll be responsible for accurately measuring parts, organizing and uploading data, analysing results, and completing all associated manufacturing paperwork within the CMM area.
Working from detailed data sheets, your sharp attention to detail will ensure the correct quantity and quality of castings are produced to meet the production schedule. You'll also monitor the process closely, identifying any faults or defects in the equipment or process and promptly reporting them to your supervisor.
