Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 year ICU experienceo Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes? Patient Types / Common Diagnoses : o General medical patients requiring advanced hemodynamics and continuous monitoring of cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic and neurologic statuso Respiratory compromise or failure requiring medium or high flow oxygen devices, NIPPV or ventilator supporto Renal Failure with CRRT capabilities o Severe Sepsis with hemodynamic instability and IV resuscitationo General, Vascular, or thoracic surgical patients requiring continuous cardiac, respiratory or hemodynamic support include pharmacological vasopressor supporto Cardiac arrest requiring targeted temperature managemento Neuro Medical cases Stroke with or without Tenecteplase (TNK) or Traumatic Fall with some neurosurgical intervention (EVD management or ICP monitoring)o DKA / HHNK Insulin drips with Endotool titrations? Patient Ratios : o RN : ICU Level of care is 1 : 2; Special high acuity of RN 1 : 1 care (organ procurement or CRRT); Overflow patients waiting on stepdown Intermediate the RN to patient ratio is 1 : 3 or 1 : 4 depending on interventions.o CNA : Varies and we do have Nurse Tech support.o Charge Nurse is typically a free charge available to resource and assist.? Required Licensure & Certifications : o BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Resource Team requirements?
